First Port City Bank (FPCB), Bainbridge, Georgia, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Brooks to Senior Vice President/Florida Market Leader/Chief Marketing Officer.

Mike joined the FPCB Family in April 2019 as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at the Fernandina Beach Branch (Amelia Island). Over the past five years, he has worked diligently to expand the Florida Market. His efforts have not gone unnoticed; he was nominated for Business Leader of the Year in 2021 and recognized as one of the Top 40 Over 40 Professionals in Nassau County in 2024. Additionally, he received accolades such as the Marquis Who’s Who in America—Entrepreneurs, Business Owners, and Professionals—Florida edition, as well as the Secretary of State Award for Board Member of the Year for his contributions to the Fernandina Beach Main Street in 2024. Recently, Mike was nominated again in Nassau County for Business Leader of the Year for 2024.
Mike is deeply involved in the Nassau County community. He is the current President of the Leadership Nassau Alumni Association, Board Secretary of the Fernandina Beach Main Street (FBMS) and is on the Economic Vitality Committee for FBMS, and is on the Island Hop Craft Beer Festival Committee. When Mike is not in Board meetings he donates and supports many of the local non-profits in town like, Trinity Love Hoblit Foundation, Barnabas, Amelia Island Youth Soccer, Nassau Education Foundation, Take Stock in Children, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Navy Seal Foundation, Collin Helms Foundation, Girls & Boys Club of Nassau County, Amelia Island Charities, the various Nassau County Rotary Clubs, Toys for Tots, Knights of Columbus, NCSO Charities, Fernandina Beach High School Foundation, Caden Project, Amelia Island ALS, FBHS Quarterback Club, Amelia Community Theatre, Habitat for Humanity, Katelyn’s Ride for Autism, FBHS Band, FB Youth Advisory, The Arc of Nassau, Toys for Tots, and Joy to the Children. As you can see Mike is a familiar face at numerous events across both the Florida and Georgia Markets.
